Strong buyer demand across all price brackets is definitely noticeable at the start of this year. We are seeing multiple offers as commonplace across all homes whether they’re under $400k or over a million. Buyers are lamenting “there’s nothing on the market”, however that is likely to change as the year starts to kick into gear.
The pace of the market is evident when you compare days to sell, a lightning fast 23 days to sell compared to 42 in December 2018.
The market remains a sellers’ market, for the time being – well presented homes are achieving premium and I look forward to advising anyone thinking selling on how they can maximise their potential through presentation and promotion.
